Jelgava and Jūrmala volleyball players at a loss in away games in the Baltic League

“Biolars” / “Jelgava MSĢ” and “RTU Robežsardze” / “Jūrmala” volleyball players in Estonia suffered a loss in the “Credit24” championship game on Saturday.

After Friday’s loss to the champion team Tallinn “Selver” a day later “Biolars” / “Jelgava MSĢ” Tartu with 0-3 (20:25, 12:25, 15:25) gave up to “Bigbank” team.

Sandis Vilcāns scored ten points for the guests, Eduards Stieģelis for seven points, and Tāvets Lepiks scored 13 points for Bigbank.

On Saturday, a two-day tour in Estonia was started by RTU Border Guard / Jurmala, which gave way to Selver with 0-3 (17:25, 20:25, 20:25).

Matīss Gabdulļins scored 13 points in favor of Jūrmala club, but Oliver Oravs was the most productive with 17 points.

Jūrmalnieki with four losses takes the penultimate, but Jelgava club with three losses – the last place in the competition of nine teams.

This season, nine teams are participating in the Credit24 Championship – four from Estonia (Tartu “Bigbank”, “Parnu”, Tallinn “Selver” and “TalTech”) and Latvia (“Daugavpils University” / “Ezerzeme”, “RTU Border Guard” / “Jūrmala”, Jēkabpils “Lūši” and “Biolars” / “Jelgava MSĢ”) and one Lithuanian unit – Klaipeda “Amber Volley”.

Last season’s tournament was celebrated by Tallinn’s “Selver”, which beat Saaremaa in the final, and Jēkabpils “Lūši” won the third place.
