The Los Angeles Lakers will have one of the most dangerous Big Three in the NBA for the 2021-22 season, made up of LeBron James, Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis, three of the league’s biggest stars in their respective roles.
Of course, having these three players has serious economic implications for the Californian organization, since with the arrival of Westbrook and the respective contract extensions for James and Davis, the trio will earn $ 138.5 million for the new season.
Westbrook is the highest paid with $ 44.2 million, followed by the “King” with $ 41.2 million and finally Davis will receive $ 35.3 million. This corresponds to 73.1% of the money destined for the squad, leaving the remainder for the 11 players that complement the payroll.
The expectations of the board are very high, since in the face of this enormous investment and all that involved the series of movements made in the offseason, something less than the title could seem a failure.
