Last weekend a little football history was made. Bayern Munich, PSG, Real Madrid and Barcelona all lost. The last time that happened in one and the same weekend was back in April 2003.

Bayern Munich were surprised at home by Antwerp-killer Eintracht Frankfurt (1-2), while PSG lost on a visit to Rennes (2-0), where Jérémy Doku is still injured. Barcelona lost the Spanish top match at the Atlético (2-0) to Yannick Carrasco. Real Madrid, with Thibaut Courtois between the posts and Eden Hazard as a substitute, let Espanyol eat the cheese of the bread (2-1).
For the time being, the consequences are not too bad. Bayern, PSG and Real Madrid all remain in the lead in Germany, France and Spain respectively. Only Barcelona follow in ninth place in La Liga with one game less played.
