Disney has released the official poster of the series that will tell the adventures of Hawkeye and his pupil Kate Bishop, bringing back to the stage in the role of Clint Barton a well-established face of the MCU like that of Jeremy Renner and introducing for the first time a new heroine played by Hailee Steinfeld. Both appear in the official poster, together with the dog Lucky with a graphic that takes up and pays homage to that of the cover of the first issue of Hawkeye – Normal Life, the comic series by Matt Fraction and David Aja to which the TV series is partially (but strongly) inspired.

Hailee Steinfeld told Empire about her preparation for the role. A physical and technical preparation, which led her to train for a long time in archery, to become a decent archer. “My skills are pretty good now – said the actress who made her debut at 14 in the Coen brothers’ The Grit – Kate is self-taught and for me it was important to do it alone, to be ready for the moment when we would begin to spin”. And again: “Kate wants to do good, she longs to follow in Hawkeye’s footsteps. She has always idolized him and now she finds herself in this adventure next to him ”.
