Hamburg (dpa / lno) – Bundesliga basketball team Hamburg Towers is worried about Lukas Meisner’s action at Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt on Sunday (3 p.m.). The forward has flu symptoms and is paused for the time being. Also posted are Justus Hollatz, Zach Brown and Caleb Homesley. Coach Pedro Calles was optimistic on Thursday that the trio will be ready for action again in Frankfurt.

After two lost games in the league and the end in the BBL Cup, the Hamburgers are threatened with falling to the bottom of the table if they lose at the current bottom of the table. But Calles emphasized that the pressure was not coming from outside, but from himself. And he added: “I’m not worried about the results.”

Nevertheless, the coach has to make his team act better on the defensive in Frankfurt than against Bayreuth and Chemnitz last time. “We’re aggressive but we’re not effective,” said Calles.
