We recently saw the first poster of Hawkeye, but the news is not over: Empire has in fact published a new photo of Hailee Steinfeld in the role of Kate Bishop, along with some statements from the actress.
Steinfeld he says he learned to archery before shooting, to better immerse himself in the role of Kate: a young woman who imitates the exploits of Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) and becomes its pupil.
My archery skills are pretty good right now. Kate is self-taught, so it was important for me to learn on my own, and be ready in time for filming to begin.
Clint meets Kate in New York, while the hero is celebrating Christmas with his children: together, they will face the threat of Clown and of Tracksuit Mafia.
I remind you that the first two episodes of Hawkeye will debut on 24 november its Disney+. You can see the shot below.

The synopsis
In a Christmas New York, Clint Barton, better known as Hawkeye, passes the baton (or in this case the bow) to a new generation. Specifically, Kate Bishop, a young warrior who has spent her life trying to look like her hero.
He cast
The cast features Jeremy Renner (Clint Barton), Hailee Steinfeld (Kate Bishop), Florence Pugh (Yelena belova), Vera Farmiga (Eleanor Bishop), Tony Dalton (Jack Duquesne / Swordsman), Alaqua Cox (Maya lopez / Echo), Tooth McClarnon (William Lopez) e From Fee (Kazimierz Kazimierczak / Clown).
Clint Barton’s pupil
The show will introduce Kate Bishop. Created in 2005 by Allan Heinberg (texts) e Jim Cheung (drawings) on Young Avengers n. 1, the young woman Kate inherits the name of Hawk eye in the period in which the latter is believed dead. In the series, we can assume that Kate will become the “protected” of Clint Barton, who will train him in combat and archery.
The screenwriter
The screenplay for the series was entrusted to Jonathan Igla, best known for Mad Men.
The director
Hawkeye will be directed by the duo Bert and Bertie (that is to say Amber Finlayson e Katie Ellwood) yes Rhys Thomas.
Bert and Bertie are known for the film Troop Zero, but they have also directed several episodes of Kidding e The Great. Rhys Thomas, an Emmy winner, directed the film Staten Island Summer and an episode of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, in addition to various segments of the Saturday Night Live.
