Between Palmola and the Toulouse Golf Club, in other words in the derby of the Pink City, the debates also quickly turned to the advantage of the title holders. The Reds and Blacks had preserved Yvie Chaucheprat, Ariane Provot and Clémence Cadéac in the morning, and just like Racing, were full of success during the foursome session.
Louise Reau and Celine Manche, already very effective in doubles during the 2020 edition, brought the first point by beating Elorri-Gabrielle Sanchez and Sofia Valera, 3 & 2. They were imitated, almost at the same time, by Marion veysseyre and Marie-Elodie Prats-Rigual, victorious 4 & 3 against Victoria Stutts and Laure Boudou.
With only two points to be gleaned in the afternoon out of the five at stake, the Toulouse Golf Club team quickly obtained its qualification for the last four. First of all, Yvie Chaucheprat won 5 & 4 against Lucie Grande. Then, in the last single, Céline Manche, already 4 up, chained three holes won on the start of the return to win, 7 & 6, over Elorri-Gabrielle Sanchez.
“We gave everything in the morning, the girls really did the job, emphasizes Yvie Chaucheprat. The watchword for the afternoon was to play our matches 100% to qualify, and it was a very good day. I think we met the targets, both on the doubles and on the singles. “

The debates were closer between Saint-Cloud, which had completed the qualifying podium behind Racing and Toulouse, and the Golf Club de Lyon. The morning foursome session ended with two 4 & 2 wins, one signed Ariane Klotz and Sara Brentcheneff Lyon side, and Morgane Bazin de Jessey and Quiterie Guignard Saint-Cloud side.
Everything was going to be played out in the five singles of the afternoon, during which the mother-daughter duo Quiterie Guignard – Amandine Vincent worked wonders, the first winning 7 & 6 against Sara Brentcheneff, and the second doing the same, 5 & 4, against Claire Dubois. Only one point was therefore missing at Saint-Cloud, and despite the Lyon point scored by Ariane Klotz, 4 & 3 on Yada Alliot, Alix Francois-Poncet, in the first single, won 2 up on Good Ralamboarison, to seal the fate of the meeting, following a very good iron 7 on the 18. Saint-Cloud will face Toulouse in the semi-final.
“The whole team is super happy, it was a hooked game, reacts Alix François-Poncet. I knew it was going to be played on my part, Tsara put a very good putt at 7 to come back to square. I knew I needed two good holes to finish and I made them so I’m very happy. “

Between Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche and a Saint-Germain team at home this week, the afternoon was also decisive, after shared foursomes. Charlotte Liautier and Lou Rousselot quickly brought a first point to Saint-Nom, winning the final score of 7 & 6 on Perrine Gouin-Petit and Carla de Troia. But in the head game, Clemence henry and Capucine Flauraud equalized, winning 4 & 2 against Lauren Thompstone and Emma Alard.
Everything was decided in the afternoon singles, which have long been hung between the two teams. Diane Duchefdelaville nevertheless brought Saint-Nom an extra point, winning the first match 2 & 1 against Carla de Troia. Despite the victory of Perrine Gouin-Petit in the 18th against Charlotte Liautier, Emma Alard brought the Nonnais-Bretechoises to one point of the qualification by winning against Clémence Henry, 3 & 2.
This point came through Lou Rousselot, who resisted until the end against Eugenie Varet, to end the match at 18, 1 up. “It was a long afternoon with fatigue, and I put less putts than in the morning, she confides. I managed to put in a good birdie putt at 17, which got me going. Everyone is very happy to qualify. Our young players played very well. We will focus on the day of tomorrow (Saturday), and try to do the maximum. “ A day of semi-finals in Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche will meet with RCF La Boulie.
