From chivalry to troubadours, a medieval atmosphere in the city

Since Saturday, Uzès has been living in medieval times with period costumes and music in the city and continues today with an enticing program.

From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., visit of the duchy (10 €); from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., carriage ride from the town hall; at 11 am, parade of all the troops with the Bacchic Company; from 2 p.m. to 5.30 p.m., visit of the medieval garden (prices: € 6 and € 3, free for children under 12); at 2 p.m., guided tour of Uzès in the Middle Ages (€ 7 or € 5, departure from the tourist office); at 2:30 p.m., show tournament of chivalry (esplanade) and initiation to medieval dances; at 3.30 p.m., medieval tales in the medieval garden square, dance and magic in music; at 5 pm, parade of the troops, departure from the town hall; at 5.30 p.m., demonstration of fighting on the Place aux Herbes; from 10 am to 7 pm, medieval craft market on the Place du Duchy with Griffondor falconry (educational and didactic workshop).

Entertainment for children will be set up from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.: troll-ball, bouncy castles and archery in the courtyard of the bishopric, wooden games, combat arena, face painting, pony rides and more. departure dungeon adventure (2 p.m.) on the Place aux Herbs from 3 p.m., percussion workshop with the Galapiat troubadours in the courtyard of the town hall.
