David Andersen, who wore Fenerbahce Beko jersey for a period, which was shown as one of the best basketball players in Australian history, said goodbye to the parks.
In a written statement, the Australian Basketball Federation announced that the NBA player, who also won the THY Europa League three times in his career, retired at the age of 41.
Andersen won the Europa League championship with Kinder Bologna in 2001 and with CSKA Moscow in 2006 and 2008.
Andersen, who also has an NBA career, also played for the Atlanta Hawks, Houston Rockets, Toronto Raptors and New Orleans Hornets. Andersen took part in Fenerbahçe’s squad in the 2012-2013 season.
