A story that recounts what he himself experienced, and which gives shivers down the spine, both Mohamed Bouhafsi and his mother lived through a real ordeal for many years before thanks to a neighbor, things ended in a departure from his father.

Child abuse, 300,000 victims per year

Very touched by the story last year of the death of Daoudja, a 6-year-old boy, beaten by his father, while his neighbors had admitted to having often heard the child scream under the blows, Mohamed Bouhafsi not only wishes to help associations, but he also wanted to offer a little comfort to these innocent victims. Using his address book, the journalist decided to organize events on November 20 on the occasion of the day of the rights of the child. It is in this context that the Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 clubs will play during the weekend from 19 to 21 November with a jersey with an overflocking featuring a logo drawn by children, while the 119, a national number intended to report cases of children at risk will be displayed on giant screens in the stadiums. Likewise, a football tournament will be organized for 240 children aged 8 to 14 at the Stade de France, children having previously had the opportunity to train in the various cities from which they come. And all these little people will be able to attend the rugby match between France and New Zealand. “ This cause is an issue of force majeure beyond the parties (…) When I organize this weekend for me, that’s the real policy (…) I consider that we can be journalist and carry convictions as a citizen ”, Explains, in the JDD, Mohamed Bouhafsi.
