Football clubs send hard-learned hooligans to Kazerne Dossin | Inland

“This new project can be compared to what we do for justice,” says Tomas Baum, director of Kazerne Dossin. The Antwerp public prosecutor has recently been able to send people who have violated anti-discrimination legislation to Dossin.

The cooperation between the Pro League and Kazerne Dossin will start from December 1. Thanks to the civil exclusion procedure, clubs have a strong weapon to ban fans from football stadiums for a while. These supporters will first have to follow a targeted route in Kazerne Dossin before they can enter the stadium again.

“We provide tailor-made training,” says Baum. “If the behavior is motivated by peer pressure, we show the possible consequences with historical examples.”
