FK «Mogo / LSPA» triumphs in the final stage of the Baltic Hockey League, scoring the victory goal on the shelf

“Mogo / LSPA” with the result 2: 1 (0: 0, 0: 1, 2: 0) won the home team “Liepāja” in a dramatic game. 11 minutes before the end of the game, the result on the scoreboard was 1: 0 in favor of Liepaja, but then Rūdolfs Polcs stood out with two goals, bringing a victory to his unit.

On Friday, HK “Liepāja” defeated “7bet-HOCKEY PUNKS” 7: 3, but “MOGO / LSPA” defeated the Lithuanian team with 6: 2 on Saturday. The Estonian championship team “Tartu Välk 494” officially withdrew from the Baltic Hockey League final on Wednesday. Thus, three teams started in the tournament.

The final stage of the Baltic Hockey League was supposed to take place at the end of last year as well, but COVID-19 was canceled for safety reasons.

Due to all restrictions set in the country, spectators could not attend the Baltic Hockey League games.
