Fenerbahce: will Sead Kolasinac follow his ex-teammate Mesut Özil to Istanbul?

Will Mesut Özil and Sead Kolasinac be playing together again soon? Rumor has it that Kolasinac could follow the 2018 world champion at Fener.
Fenerbahce Istanbul are apparently interested in signing Sead Kolasinac. The Turkish daily reports New Age. Accordingly, Kolasinac could reunite with his former FC Arsenal colleague Mesut Özil during the winter break.
Fenerbahce is said to have tried to get Kolasinac in the summer, but to no avail at the time. The 28-year-old defensive all-rounder has been playing for Arsenal since 2017, where his contract expires next summer. In the current season he has only made two competitive appearances.
Sead Kolasinac and Mesut Özil were ambushed together
In the previous second half of the season Kolasinac played on loan from his youth club FC Schalke 04 and was relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga with him.
Özil joined Fenerbahce on a free transfer from Arsenal last winter. The two former colleagues are friends. In 2019, Kolasinac Özil even jumped aside during a robbery on the street.
