GOALKEEPER

Alisson on Matchday 3 defenses

Despite Diogo Costa’s five goals conceded against Liverpool in Matchday 2, the 11 saves and two games without conceding help make the 22-year-old Dragons goalkeeper the best in his place, relegating Alisson Becker – Best on the Field in the 3-2 away victory over Atlético in the last round – to the bench.

Diogo Costa, Porto (€ 4.7m)

14 points: 2 games without conceding, 11 saves

DEFENSES

João Cancelo’s excellent performances for Manchester City in Matchdays 1 and 3 – in the latter he was considered Best on the Field – allowed him to add 24 of the 25 points he has in Fantasy. The Portuguese full-back leads a quartet of defenses in which the highlight is the presence of Cristiano, player of the surprising Sheriff and participating for the first time in the group stage, as well as the Moldovan club.

João Cancelo, Man. City (€ 6.2m)

25 points: 2 goals (1 from outside the area), 20 balls recovered, 1x Best in the Field

Alex Sandro, Juventus (€5.7m)

23 points: 1 goal, 2 games without conceding, 14 balls recovered

Cristiano, Sheriff (€4.9m)

22 points: 3 assists, 1 game without conceding a goal, 7 balls recovered, 1x Best on the Field

Éder Militao, Real Madrid (€5.3m)

19 points: 2 games without conceding, 21 balls recovered

MEDIUM

Bruno Fernandes assists in Jornada 3

Bruno Fernandes assists in Jornada 3

Bruno Fernandes has been growing and culminated his good performances with 12 points won in Matchday 3, when Manchester United managed a victorious comeback against Atalanta, by 3-2, helped by two assists by the Portuguese midfielder, also voted Best on the Field in that game. For the rest, emphasis is also given to Wendel, former Sporting player and now at Zenit, in a midfield composed equally of the regular Fernando, from Sevilla and ex-Porto, and by João Mário, from Benfica, on equal points with the young Claudinho.

Bruno Fernandes, Man. United (€10.6m)

23 points: 4 assists, 9 recovered balls, 1x Best on the Field

Wendel, Zenit (€5.2m)

16 points: 1 goal, 14 balls recovered

Fernando, Seville (€6.7m)

13 points: 1 game without conceding, 23 balls recovered

João Mário, Benfica (€6.2m)

13 points: 1 assist, 2 games without conceding, 12 balls recovered

ADVANCED

Vinícius Júnior and Paulinho in the goals of Jornada 3

Vinícius Júnior and Paulinho in the goals of Jornada 3

In the more advanced zone, the main note is the absence of renowned Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar. The Manchester United Portuguese has three goals scored and closes the top-10, while the Brazilian missed Paris’ last game due to injury and did little in the two opening matches – he only has five points in #UCLfantasy. Instead, two 21-year-olds are the most scored: Antony, from the prolific Ajax, and Vinícius Júnior, from Real Madrid. The pair are closely followed by Sporting’s Paulinho, who scored two goals and an assist in three games in his debut season in the UEFA Champions League – not bad!

Antony, Ajax (€7.4m)

22 points: 1 goal, 3 assists, 12 recovered balls

Vinícius Júnior, Real Madrid (€8.1m)

20 points: 2 goals, 1 assist, 1 penalty conceded, 7 balls recovered

SUBSTITUTES

Goalkeeper: Alisson, Liverpool (€6m)
8 points: 6 saves, 1x Best on the Field

Defense: José Fonte, LOSC (€ 5.3m)
17 points: 2 games without conceding, 15 balls recovered

Medium: Claudinho, Zenit (€6.2m)
13 points: 1 goal, 1 game without conceding, 8 balls recovered

Advanced: Paulinho, Sporting (€6.2m)
18 points: 2 goals (1 from outside the area), 1 assist, 6 recovered balls
