Diving, cycling, judo, football … not all the deliberations were unanimous

The city council met on Thursday evening at the Béraire space. A session again authorized to the public, without health pass control, and broadcast live on the city’s Facebook page.

Subsidies. In all, twenty-six deliberations, including six concerning the allocation of exceptional grants to sports and cultural associations, were on the agenda. The elected representatives of the opposition abstained for two of them.

These two exceptional grants, amounting to 5,000 and 15,000 euros, were awarded to the Chapell Diving Group and the Chapell Bi-club.

The first to help the club finance the replacement of the non-repairable compressor, dating from 1992, used to inflate diving tanks; the second to cover the expenses that the Bi-club had to face for the organization and logistics of the France BMX Challenge of July 3, 2021.

Finances. The board unanimously adopted a decision to modify the initial 2021 budget in order to make additional credit adjustments as well as loan guarantee conditions for the benefit of the HLM Valloire Habitat and LogemLoiret organizations.

Citizen life. For the population census which could not be carried out in 2021 due to the pandemic, the elected officials recorded a new contract to be signed with La Poste in 2022 for the sum of 2,801 .

Human ressources. Three maintenance and catering agent positions and one multi-purpose maintenance agent position have been created as part of the ministerial system of the Skills Employment Course.

In addition, since October 1, the board of permanent jobs in the community now includes a director of the mini-crèche, a director of the family crèche, a person in charge of cultural mediation and tourist development, a budget management officer and a communication Manager.

Sport. Following the closure of the CCAM Judo in default of payment, a partnership agreement with the Judo Club of Saint-Jean-de-la-Ruelle was voted by the municipal council, in agreement with the departmental technical director. The latter makes teachers available to the municipality to be able to provide lessons to young Chapellois, on Tuesday and Wednesday, in the Aurélien-Hatton dojo.

In order to honor the memory of Guy Belgioino, leader and president of USC Football for many years, who died suddenly on March 23, 2020, the city council agreed to name the USC Football clubhouse “Espace Guy- Belgioino ”.

Youth education. The municipal council was asked to adopt modifications to the single internal regulations of the structures of the education-youth service. Carried with seven opposition abstentions.

The renewal of the agreement with the Chapel Bi-club within the framework of the “Wednesday Plan” offering children an apprenticeship in cycling has been approved.

Sustainable development. In order for the Metropolis to be able to prioritize its actions in terms of credits in a biodiversity strategy for the territory, the municipality must prove its willingness to provide material and technical support for this action by adopting a wish in the municipal council. This was done unanimously after the presentation by Stéphanie Le Donne, assistant for sustainable development, of the manual for a municipal biodiversity inventory (IBC).
