A year ago, chairman Dirk Huyck, financial director Olivier Swolfs and his board gave the green light for an American takeover of the club. 97.48 percent of the shares were owned by the American group Bolt.
It was then agreed that Huyck and Swolfs would still supervise the transition as directors, on the organization chart on the club website Huyck still bears the title of chairman.
A press release today put an end to the administrative collaboration: “Since the transition has been successfully completed and the option agreed on the balance of the shares has been lifted, the time has come to resign from their board positions by mutual agreement”, it sounds.
The club thanks the two for the efforts made in recent years. Huyck and Swolfs will continue to support the club as sponsor and supporter.
