Devils: Origi scorer with Liverpool, Manchester City and De Bruyne eliminated, Hazard and Courtois stall at Osasuna

In England, Liverpool and Divock Origi, holder, traveled to Preston, resident of Championship. The Reds won a logical 0-2 victory which allows them to advance to the quarter-finals of the League Cup. In Germany, Stuttgart, with Orel Mangala holder in the middle of the midfield, lost to Cologne, 0-2, in the round of 16 of the German Cup. The 23-year-old Belgian played the entire meeting decided by a double from Modeste (72nd and 77th).

In Spain, Real Madrid faced Osasuna in Matchday 11 of the league. The match ended in a draw, 0-0. Eden Hazard was on the bench at the start of the game but came into play in the 69th minute in place of Asensio. Courtois was the holder between the Madrid posts, recording his 3rd clean sheet of the season in the league.
