INDOSPORT.COM – Successfully becoming the champion of the Czech Open, Putri Kusuma Wardani expressed her gratitude for the two tournaments she participated in previously, namely the Uber Cup and Sudirman Cup.
The future Indonesian women’s singles, who is familiarly called Putri KW, feels that the experience she got in the Uber and Sudirman Cups has played a big role in the Czech Open title she just won.
“The experience of playing in the Sudirman and Uber Cups yesterday, I got experience playing from the seniors I played against,” said Putri to PBSI.
Putri presented her Czech Open title to all those who have supported her career so far, especially for her father’s birthday yesterday.
“Thank God I won the Czech Open. It’s certainly very exciting to win. This victory is of course also for PBSI, the coach, and the Indonesian people who support me. I also dedicate this title as a birthday present on October 18th,” he said.
Furthermore, the 19-year-old badminton player stated that this victory was his motivation to continue to compete even better.
Putri is eyeing the Belgian International Challenge which will be held next week as the next champion target.
