The regional qualification valid for access to the finals of the Italian Cadet Judo Championship took place on Sunday 3 October at the sports hall of Castelmaggiore (Bo). For the CS Village, accompanied by coach Nicola Marzucco, six athletes were involved in the competition.
Raul Damiani, first in the category up to 50kg, Michele Fabbri second in the 55kg category and Simone Rustignoli third in the 66kg take off the passes for the finals. Together with them there will be Claudia Barbeitos (up to 63kg), already qualified by right being in the ranking list among the first Italian athletes of the category. Unfortunately, despite the good results Michela Cicchetti (second in the 63kg), Davide Deserti and Matteo Nardi Pantoli do not enter the finals.
The finals will take place at the Pala Filjkam in Ostia at the end of the month.
