ROVIGO – Three young people died and a fourth was seriously injured in an accident that took place just before midnight along the provincial road 27, in Grignano Polesine (Rovigo).
To notice the accident and to call 115 was a passing firefighter, who noticed the parking lights of the car, which ended up against a plane tree.
The traffic police were also on site to investigate the accident
The victims are Marco Stocco, 18, Filippo Bettarello, 17 and Michael Zanforlin, 17.
The injured is 16-year-old NM, hospitalized in intensive care.
They are all students of the Ipsia di Rovigo, except Bettarello who attended accountancy. They were sporty kids, they played baseball and soccer.
