Lucas Hernandez threatens trouble with the Spanish judiciary. A court in Madrid ordered a prison sentence against the Bayern Munich star on Wednesday.
The 32nd criminal court in Madrid summoned the French team player for October 19th. Thereafter, the 25-year-old has to begin a six-month prison sentence within ten days. An application had been made to suspend the execution of the sentence, but this had been refused.
Violate the ban on contact
A court in Madrid had issued a ban on contact and approach against the footballer in February 2017 after a violent dispute with his current wife Amelie de la Osa Lorente in public.
A little later, the couple was reconciled and flew to Miami together. And thereby violated the court-imposed ban on contact. This was found on the return to Spain – Hernandez was playing for Atletico Madrid at the time.
Hernandez was then sentenced to 31 days of community service. However, the star kicker did not complete this. Now the French are threatened with imprisonment.
