Citing Macri, the candidate for legislator of Together for Change said that “it is not flooded anymore” and defended the viaducts – Saavedra Online

During the official debate of candidates for Buenos Aires legislators, the candidate of Together for Change Emmanuel Ferrario quoted former President Mauricio Macri and said that thanks to various public works “no more floods” in neighborhoods historically punished by this problem, including Saavedra.

The debate took place this Friday from 8pm and was broadcast on the City Channel. Along with Ferrario participated: Alejandro Amor (Frente de Todos), Ramiro Marra (La Libertad Avanza), Gabriel Solano (Left Front and Workers-Unity), Marta Martínez (Self-determination and Freedom).

One of the four axes of the debate was “housing, environment, infrastructure and urban management”. In this context, the candidate of the ruling party assured: “During the last years the CABA has been transformed. Walking around the city is an experience. It is a livable, enjoyable, accessible city ”.

“If it rains you go to sleep peacefully because you know that the necessary works were done so that it does not flood more,” he emphasized, citing the former president who said a similar phrase in the campaign where JxC sought re-election in 2019 both in the Nation and in CABA .

He also spoke of the construction of various underpasses. In Saavedra, the one on Balbín avenue was inaugurated in August 2018, under the Miter train tracks.

About these works, Ferrario said: “In those neighborhoods where the roads crossed them and were unsafe areas there are viaducts with lighting and green spaces.”

On Sunday, November 14, the general legislative elections will be held to cover 30 of the 60 seats in the Legislature of the City of Buenos Aires. Those elected will have a mandate between December 2021 and the same month of 2025.

This Friday’s debate was called by the CABA Superior Court of Justice, which deals with electoral material within the territory of CABA, that is, in elections for positions in the Legislature and for the 15 Community Boards.
