Actor Chae Jong-hyeop took the lead in the first terrestrial drama.
Chae Jong-hyeop has confirmed his appearance as the male lead in KBS 2TV’s new drama ‘The speed to you 493km’, which is scheduled to be broadcast in the first half of 2022, and will start a different transformation.
“The Speed That Goes To You 493km” depicts a hot sports romance between Park Joo-hyeon (Park Tae-yang), who is all about refreshing twenty-five sports, and Chae Jong-hyeop (Park Tae-joon), who is a professional sportsman, in a badminton business team. Among them, Chae Jong-hyeop takes on the role of Park Tae-joon, a badminton player on the professional team who thinks sports is just a job just like other people do at work.
In the play, Chae Jong-hyeop was cut from the city hall team and after retirement, he dreamed of a comfortable life with lessons, but because of the regret of 1%, he thinks it will be the last and joins Eunice. Chae Jong-hyeop, along with Park Joo-hyun in a mixed doubles team, raises expectations that he will captivate the CRT with a heart-pounding epileptic romance and a thrilling match.
In particular, Chae Jong-hyeop began to engage in high-intensity badminton training as well as physical strength training after his appearance was confirmed to enhance the reality of the drama and play the role of Park Tae-joon, who is growing from a wandering badminton player to a super rookie.
Chae Jong-hyeop, who took on the role of baseball player Min-ho Yoo in his debut SBS Friday-Saturday drama ‘Stove League’, received great love from viewers for his physical and acting like a real player. It is interesting to see what kind of colorful performances he will perform through this work.
