Today ends the National Sub-13 and Sub-15 Judo Championship in Bogotá, where the department of Casanare, has a successful participation. In the Palacio de los Deportes, is where the competitions are being held.
To the Pan American
It should be said that the event in the capital of the country is a qualifier for the Pan American Children’s Championship, which will be held from November 12 to 14 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
The Casanareña delegation is led by Professor Antonio Rojas, who has 13 athletes in action in the Pre-Youth and Youth categories, seeking to qualify for the international program.
Medal harvest
Diario Extra Casanare learned that during the first day the llaneros won five bronze medals, among them is that of the outstanding athlete, Jhon Orejarena. There are 296 athletes from 15 leagues in the country seeking the national medals.
In other results, the Colombian National Team in the sub 13 category obtained a silver and a bronze medal. The silver was obtained by Romero Suárez Juan David, in the weight division of -47 kilograms, of record of the Risaraldense Judo League. The bronze went to the athlete of record of the Cesar Judo League, Hernández Quintero Camilo Andrés, in the -38 kilogram weight division.
International Cup
Things are already beginning to heat up in the Caribbean country, and they said that for the Dominican Judo Federation it is an honor to have the opportunity to support the Children’s Judo of the continent with the organization of the Santo Domingo 2021 Children’s Pan-American Championship and the Open Cup of the Caribbean Sub13 & Sub15 , in which all athletes will be able to develop a great experience. “We hope that each one can do a bit to contribute to the future of judo,” they highlighted.
Casanare League
In more issues that have to do with judo, the new Board of Directors of the Casanare League was recently elected, being formed as follows; Dumar Gutiérrez is the President, while Blanca Rincón is the Fiscal Auditor, for her part Nayibe Jaramillo is the Treasurer and as Secretary, Lorenzo Pérez. The official results are expected by contribution from the Federation to know how the regional delegation in Bogotá did.
