At the end of the electoral ceremony which took place on Sunday, October 17, at the Marius Francisco auditorium in Cotonou, Anicet Glitho was acclaimed at the head of the umbrella body for the management of Beninese judo. We could note in particular the presence of the director of elite sport Bonaventure Coffi Codjia and the former president of the Benin judo federation, Germain Loko.

Without a rival, outgoing president Anicet Glitho obtained all of the votes cast. At the same time, the president of the No Stress club unveiled the ambitions of his work team for this new adventure which has just started. In order to restore the image of local judo, apart from the creation of new leagues, the federal management body of this martial art of Japanese origin will endeavor to organize competitions in all geographical areas of Benin for the benefit of different age categories. It will also be an opportunity for veterans to take advantage of the new dynamic of the discipline’s directorate to find the tatami mats during the competitions that will be organized for them. For their part, the coaches and technical stewards will benefit from a strengthening of their technical capacities in order to better manage their respective foals. Also he will strive, according to the words of its president, to regularly involve the national judokas in continental and world competitions like the Olympic Games of Paris in 2024. But, before this sporting game which will take place in the French capital , President Anicet Glitho will be supported in his duties by a team which includes three women, including Vice-President Céline Atchéoun.
