Bayern Munich recovered well from the slap suffered in Mönchengladbach (5-0) in the German Cup by easily winning against Union Berlin 5-2, and still leads the Bundesliga, closely followed by Dortmund and Friborg, also winners on the 10th day, Saturday. Humiliated in the cup, the Bavarians remain untouchable in the league, where they now have 25 points after their victory in their perilous trip to the lawn of Union Berlin, yet well classified (6th).

The Bundesliga’s top scorer converted a penalty (15th) obtained after Jaeckel’s arm thwarted an attempt by Leroy Sané.
