Nina Premasunac, Croatian forward-pivot of the rossoblù, is an element capable of giving substance and concreteness to the roster led by coach Mimmo Sabatelli.

“We are very happy – explains – for this start of the season. The intent is to continue on this route that we have mapped out. Now, before the break for the national teams, two races await us in which to try to extend this series and make this first part of the season unforgettable ».
RELEVANT QUALITIES At the base, in fact, there is – as evidenced by the considerations of the Croatian home team – «a team with important values that, week after week, continues on its path of growth and in the possibility of approaching the maximum of our potential. I am happy to be part of this group, which has everything a team that aims to do well needs. We can (and want to) take away a lot of satisfaction, the important thing will always be to be all healthy ».
WINNING RECIPE On the secrets behind the Campobassano group, Premasunac has a very clear idea: “Campobasso – argues – was my first choice this summer because, seeing how the staff had been assembled, she could count on high quality external, skilled both as passers and shooters and particularly fast, all the more for personal knowledge because, with two of them (Chagas and Togliani, ed), I had played together between Empoli and Broni. No less important are the characteristics of our two Americans (Gray and Parks) and the average quality of the Italians who make up the staff, a decisive factor in the tournament, all the more so if we consider the deep knowledge of the category of elements such as Trimboli and Nicolodi. To add further quality the peculiarities of our youngsters, an aspect that surprised me positively, above all Blanca and Ashley, but also the other unders who work hard in training and allow us to do quality and quantity during the week. The effective synthesis of all these factors always brings with it favorable results. To this is added the chemistry that we managed to create as a group, finding ourselves at our best together not only on the parquet, but also away from the gym ».
PUBLIC FRIEND Another aspect that has always been present in the environment of #fiorid Acciaio and able to give another bite to the rossoblù players is the support of the public.
For Premasunac, accustomed to the support of Broni (known nationally for warmth and presence), the Campobassan reality is a pleasant ‘confirmation’. «After a season behind closed doors, experiencing the atmosphere of the Arena is something unique that made me return to tournaments at Palaverde. Here the facility is even more beautiful and wider and playing in front of our fans makes me alive every time. I can only thank our supporters, who make my journey in Molise even more unforgettable. My hope is that the rules will make it possible to foresee the return to 100% of the capacity in the stands, so as to make such a context even more noisy (and unforgettable) ».
EFFECTIVE POTENTIAL On the other hand, about the qualities that the rossoblù group can still express, the Croatian interior of the magnolias prefers not to be unbalanced: «It would not be appropriate to pronounce it now, also because Reshanda (Gray, ed) has recently been with us. I believe that in the next month we will have a clearer picture because we will have more time to improve the agreements and grow. Already now, compared to the start of the season and the double challenge with Eurocup’s Ensino Lugo, we have added new potential to our way of being on the pitch ».
PLAUSIBLE OBJECTIVES And, faithful to his extreme pragmatism, Premasunac does not unbutton too much in terms of goals for the rossoblùs. «I don’t like talking about achievable goals that then maybe can’t be realized. I like to keep my feet firmly on the ground. Certainly, however, if physically we do not have problems, we deserve to be among the big names in this tournament and we will try to do our best against all the other top teams that we will challenge. Realistically I think we have the qualities to aim for a placement in the top eight, then the dream is to try to finish even higher. I have been in Italy for six seasons and have never managed to reach the top, so I hope that sooner or later this hope will materialize ».
