Bariloche is present at the Araucania Games | ANB :: Bariloche News Agency

From Monday 1 to Sunday 7, in different parts of Patagonia, the first National Games of Araucania will take place and the girls and boys of Bariloche will be protagonists in the Rio Negro selected games. The big event will replace for this year the traditional Binational proposal since Chile will not be participating. It will be played in Río Negro, Neuquén, Chubut, Santa Cruz and Tierra del Fuego, with the disciplines soccer, basketball, volleyball, cycling, judo, handball and athletics, in ladies and gentlemen.

On Monday 1, the swimming activity will start in the pool of the Hispanic American club of Río Gallegos and there will be Juan Cruz Ortiz, Tiziana Luna and Leticia Vaieretti.
Volleyball programming will also begin in Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego. On the local side, Josefina Iglesias, Emilia Griffa, Camila Fuentes and Juan Pablo Fuentes will participate.

On the same day, Neuquén will begin to play handball, without participation from Bariloche.
Athletics events will be held on Neuquén soil. There will also be no local presence.

Another sport that will start on Monday will be cycling, in Viedma and El Cóndor. There are no Barilochens in the selected ones.

On Tuesday 2, in Viedma, judo will have its beginning. Ezequiel Villar will participate in the men’s team.

On Thursday 4, football will start in Puerto Madryn. Bariloche will have the presence of Tomás Pinilla, Agustín Erbin and Yuliana Alarcón.
Basketball will also play from the same day and in the same city. In ladies, Río Negro will have Sofía Guazzone in its ranks.
