ATP – Finals, ATP – Vienna> Sinner: “I would be lying if I told you that I do not follow my opponents’ matches”

Jannik Sinner is no longer hiding, he wants more than ever to play his first ATP finals scheduled, at home, in Italy (in Turin to be precise). For that, he will have to achieve an almost faultless while hoping that his main opponent, Cameron Norrie, commits a misstep. At a press conference in Vienna after his fine victory over Reilly Opelka on 11e World has acknowledged that he is particularly observing his opponents in this race for the Masters Tournament.

“I’m very happy with my performance today (Wednesday) against a player like Reilly Opelka. He is a very difficult player to beat because he hardly gives you any rhythm on the court. This victory is one more step towards this goal of the ATP Finals. I try to monitor my results, but I would be lying if I told you that I am not following my opponents’ games. They must also follow mine. Despite that, I think that by getting good results here and in Paris, I will be very close to qualifying. “
