Atlético Nacional: 2-0 victory against Once Caldas report and summary Betplay League 2021 | Colombian Soccer | Betplay League

Atlético Nacional beat Once Caldas 2-0 by date 16 in League II-2021. With goals from Jefferson Duque and Andrés Andrade, the purslane added their 12th victory in the championship, in addition to being leaders in the all against all with 39 points, they are first in the reclassification with one more point over Millonarios.

At minute 2, Atlético Nacional had the first after a cross from the right sector by Yerson Candelo and with a header, Jefferson Duque demanded the Paraguayan goalkeeper Gerardo Ortiz, on the rebound, Yeison Guzmán tried, but the ball was rejected by a team defender visitor.

At minute 36 and after a counterattack, Nacional had the second goal close. Dorlan Pabón recovered a ball from the bottom, filtered a pass to Jefferson Duque, who served the ball from the left sector to the center of the area, but Andrés Andrade’s shot went wide.

On the 39th minute, Emmanuel Olivera fouled in midfield and was booked. Deriving in his fifth card per League and therefore, he will not be able to be in the next game against Jaguares, in Montería. At minute 41, Once Caldas made his first change, entering Ménder García in place of Dannovi Quiñones.

At 45, a dangerous play by Nacional almost ended in the second goal for the local team. From the left zone, Dorlan Pabón filtered a pass and Andrés Andrade arriving at speed, failed to fully connect the ball, passing slightly deflected from the goal guarded by Ortiz.

So much was the insistence until the second goal for Nacional came through Andrés Andrade, who with a left foot and on the edge of the area at minute 23, sent the ball to the upper left corner of the south goal. At minute 30, the visit exhausted its moments of changes with a double substitution; Marcelino Carreazo and Juan David Pérez left, and Félix Micolta and Adrián Estacio entered.

About minute 39, Felipe Aguilar suffered a blow to his head and the game stopped for a few minutes, then the player recovered and was back on the court. In the 43rd minute, Nacional exhausted his changes with the entry of Tomás Ángel instead of Dorlan Pabón who was praised by the public.

In the end, Nacional gets one more victory in the championship that puts him as the leader of the reclassification, he remains undefeated in the Atanasio and with an improvement in his game that will allow him to make rotations thinking about the games that come in the League and the final of the Colombian Cup 2021 against Deportivo Pereira. Once Caldas at times got into the game and competed, but it was not enough to level forces.

On the next date, Atlético Nacional visits Jaguares in Montería, while Once Caldas receives Patriotas de Boyacá in Manizales.
