The Cap Sizun Badminton (CSB) has just been created, under the leadership of Gilles Colin, Plouhinécois practicing this sport for many years.
A sport to do during the winter
“I was looking for a sporting activity that suited me and that could be done during the winter. We are starting this club in a spirit of leisure, good-naturedness and with the aim of playing sport in a good mood, ”he says.
With the logistical support of the municipality, which provides the badminton poles and nets, we will be able to play leisure badminton in the sports hall of Plouhinec, twice a week: Tuesday evening and Friday afternoon. The club offers discovery sessions, snowshoes and shuttlecocks will be loaned for the occasion. Members must then bring their personal racquet, the shuttlecocks will be provided by the club which welcomes players from 11 years old.
First sessions, Tuesday, November 9
“Many young students of the college of Locquéran were initiated and since their departure from the college, they could not practice. They will now be able to complete our ranks. If people want to orient themselves later towards competition and help the association evolve, they are also welcome, ”he continues. In the sports hall, five doubles pitches have been marked out on the ground by the technical services.
