Tine De Caigny is increasingly finding her way at Hoffenheim. In the first group match of the Champions League, she emphatically made her mark in a 5-0 win against the Danes of Køge.
Tine De Caigny exchanged Anderlecht in the interim season for Hoffenheim, the number 3 of the Bundesliga last season. In the first matches of the competition she had to content herself with a role as supersub, but against Køge she got a basic place.
It would eventually be a one-sided game (Hoffenheim had 29 chances), in which the Danish women could limit the damage for 1 half. Immediately after the break, De Caigny offered Billa the 2-0 with a through ball and she took care of the 4-0 and 5-0 herself, the latter in extra time.
A good start to the group stage and actually a must, because with Barcelona and Arsenal also in the group, Hoffenheim is waiting for a very difficult task to finish in the top 2.
