Walkthrough Kena: Where to find all the Rot in the game?

Hidden under a branch, in a bowl, in a cursed chest or even obtained as a reward for a shooting challenge, the Rots are scattered throughout the world of Kena Bridge of Spirits and your objective will be to find them all. Whether you want to do 100% of the game or not, it is very important to collect as much as possible to improve your actions in combat and therefore defeat Bosses more easily.

Where can I find all the Rot de Kena?

Hidden Rots are mainly recognizable by a sparkly pink mark but there are several ways to get it:

• If you see something glow in pink, you have to interact to activate a mechanism or release a Rot (a drawer, a branch, an archery game etc …)
• Often, if a pink mark is present on the ground, you must use your Impulse to release the Rot: remember to interact afterwards to retrieve it,
• It is possible to obtain Rot directly by fighting a boss for example (this is often the case when you get a relic, you will gain three Rots at once),
• Look from everywhere: Rots can be hidden in vegetables, from lampposts, lanterns hanging from trees or even in rocks to detonate a bomb.
• Use all possible techniques: shoot an arrow, activate the impulse, destroy an obstacle with a bomb, use the Tear of the Forest on piles of leaves or vegetable fields etc …
• Some Burps can even be found as a reward for Cursed Chest,
• If you can’t find a Rot that’s supposed to be nearby, use your Mask to spot pink marks.

Location of all Rot at the Ruins

Number of Rot to find in the Ruins: 8 Rot

There are only 8 Rot at the Ruins at the start of the adventure. You will find five that are needed to be able to advance through the main story, so you will be forced to find them all. Instead, follow our guide to the Ruins to get them. By completing the quest you will get 3 new Burps.

In truth, there are 9 Burps in the Ruins since you get your Companion Burp (the one on your shoulder) at the start of the game.

Location of all Rot in the Village

Number of Rot to find in the Village: 24 Rot

In the Village, you must find a total of 24 Rot. We advise you to complete the main story before looking for them since you will have to unlock a new part of the Village on the Warehouse side in order to access everything. Likewise, most of the hidden Rots are in houses that are inaccessible if you haven’t picked up the Spirit Courts and delivered them to the Mailboxes.

Good to know : 9 of the Village Burps are not hidden and must simply be obtained by defeating the 3 Bosses of the Spirit Kingdom.

Location of all Rot at the Taro Tree

Number of Rot to find: 7

This area is not huge but it is preferable to return there once the corrupted Boss Taro has been defeated: this will allow you to see better.

Location of all Rot in the Forgotten Forest

Number of Rot to find in the Forgotten Forest: 14

On the contrary, this area is rather large and filled with hidden places. Note that 6 Rots are offered at the end of Boss fights: you will only need to find 8.

Location of all Rot at Rusu Mountain

Number of Rot to find at Rusu Mountain: 13

Again, only 10 Rot are to be found since 3 will be offered to you after the fight against the Boss.

Location of all Rot at the Warehouse and Fields

Number of Rots to find in the Warehouse: 3

Number of Rot to find in the Fields: 25

The Warehouse being an interior and tiny area, we have indicated the 3 Rots on the same map as the Fields. In the vast area of ​​the Fields, there are also 6 Rot offered after boss fights.

Number of Rot to find in the Heart of the Village: 6

Only 3 Rot are to be found in this area and we advise you instead to follow our Walkthrough of the Heart of the Village to obtain them since the map does not clearly indicate the region.
