“It’s still a whirlwind of emotions,” said Raducanu. “I loved every moment, but it’s very difficult to understand.”
Watching their match again felt strange. “When I watched it again, it felt like someone else was playing and taking some of those punches,” she admitted.
She added: “I was quite proud of how I got through some tight situations.”
The teenager turned down the proposal to rename Henman Hill at their matches. “I think he should stay Henman Hill,” said Raducanu.

“He was a great help and inspiration to me,” she praised Henman. “Of course I’m looking forward to Wimbledon. But it’s still a long way off and I still have a lot to learn.”
