TSV Palling eV – South German Championship

Sandra Schwankner from TSV Palling was able to secure the runner-up title at the South German individual judo championships for under 18s and qualify for the German championship.

In the first fight she met Anna Rommel from SV Günding and was able to defeat her with a remarkable shoulder throw after a short fight. In the second encounter she met the Bavarian champion Luka Scharrer from SV Neuhaus / Rothenbruck. As in the final of the Bavarian championship, she had to admit defeat after a failed counter technique in the ground fight. Against Sandra Reiber from SV Günding and Cornelia Schart from SV Sulzbach-Rosenberg, however, the Pallinger didn’t let anything go and defeated one after a Koshi Guruma in a ground fight and the second with an outside throw.

Kilian Daller was also represented by TSV Palling at the Süddeutsche. In the heavily occupied weight class -66 kg, he was able to make the first fight against Alexandros Koutsouridis from TSB Schwäbisch Gmünd victorious. In the two following fights against the later third placed Adam Toszegi from TSV Großhadern and Ivan Buslov from Jahn Nürnberg he had to admit defeat and finished the tournament with a good 9th place.
