Three sessions to try badminton

From September 6 to 18, the Badminton Club de l’Hermitage et du Tournonais (BCHT) welcomes you to introduce you to badminton. The first three tries are free, with the club lending a racket to those who do not have one. The times and places of these open sessions are available on the club website.

15 training slots

Throughout the year, the club offers around 15 weekly training slots for young people from 5 years old and for adults. The players are distributed, according to their level and their aspiration (leisure, competition or performance) in adapted courses, given by professional coaches and trained supervisors. Apart from training, licensees also have many free play slots.

The BCHT managed to maintain a workforce above 170 members last season, despite the more than difficult sanitary conditions. In terms of staff, the BCHT is thus at the 2e place of the Drôme-Ardèche badminton clubs, behind the badminton club of Valence. It has a team which evolves in national for the 6e consecutive year.

His badminton school, labeled 4 out of 5 possible stars, makes him a breeding ground for champions. Several young people who left this training have reached the very high level. We must cite the most emblematic success, Margot Lambert, formed at the club which was French champion in 2020 and which is part of the France team. The club has also been a partner of the “badmintonsports section of the Gabriel Faure high school since 2017. Youth training is indeed the cornerstone of the club, which stands out for its great vitality.
