The sacred Moroccan selection with 5 medals including 3 in gold

The Moroccan national judo selection (juniors) won the Arab championship of the discipline, which took place in Cairo from September 11 to 16, winning five medals, including three gold.

With their three gold medals, one in silver and the same in bronze, the nationals beat their counterparts in Kuwait, while the Egyptians completed the podium.

Grabbed the gold, Hassan Doukali (-73 Kg), Anouar Zghari (-81 Kg) and Hamza Abdelaoui (-90 Kg). Also among the (-90 Kg) Yassine El Atoui won the silver, while his compatriot Zakaria Lmaalem (-66 Kg) won the bronze.

Among the ladies, the Egyptians dominated the competitions with 7 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze.

Egypt also took the upper hand in the cadets, with 7 gold, 6 silver and 11 bronze, ahead of UAE (2nd), Kuwait (3rd), Jordan, Tunisia and Yemen.
