The registration period for the Sagunt School Age Sports program is still open

The 2021/2022 School-Age Sports program, organized by the Department of Physical Activity, Health and Sports of the Sagunto City Council, returns to the municipality with 15 different sports disciplines as of October 1. The program includes five age categories ranging from 6 to 16 years old and the enrollment period remains open until next Monday, September 20.

The different categories that schoolchildren can enjoy are: athletics, rhythmic, aerobic or aesthetic gymnastics, volleyball, chess, basketball, judo, handball, wrestling, wrestling / grappling, tennis, multi-activity, futsal and triathlon; in categories ranging from pre-teens to cadets, through youngest, fingerlings and children and adapted sport.

The courses or modules cannot be started if there is not a minimum number of students, which in this case is eight. Likewise, enrollment in activated courses or modules that have not been completed, once the enrollment period is over, will remain open throughout the course until the maximum number of students allowed is completed, which is 16, and provided that vacancies are available. In addition, students who want to enroll in an age group older than their own, may do so, although priority will be given during the enrollment period to students who fit the age and whenever there are vacancies available.

On the other hand, students interested in taking the tennis modules must take a level test prior to their registration (in which they will be assigned the reference of the module in which they must register), otherwise they will not be insures the square even after paying the municipal tax.

Likewise, students have the right to a refund of the fee as long as a place has not been assigned in the requested course or module and, on the other hand, it is possible to request a change of module in any of the activated modules of the list available in the municipal website, provided there are vacancies.
