A boyhood that was sensitive. I think that Japanese sumo was more familiar than other Mongolian children through the existence of an uncle named “Yokozuna Asashoryu”. Of course, I watched my uncle’s sumo on TV almost every day.

However, sumo wrestlers have a big body. I’m not the one with the big body originally. I had a longing for sumo, but I gave up thinking that I couldn’t become a sumo wrestler.

At the Ulaanbaatar dojo, I practiced judo from the ages of 5 to 11. After that, he turned to wrestling. One of the reasons I switched was because I had a dream of winning a medal at the 2020 Olympics.

At that time, I don’t think the venue was decided to be Tokyo yet, but an older friend who was practicing for the Olympics together at that time participated in this Olympics. Unfortunately, that friend couldn’t make it to the final, but another companion won a medal!
