The Midseason Classic will return to Seattle in 2023.
The Mariners announced Thursday with Major League Baseball that T-Mobile Park will host the All-Star Game in a couple of years. The event will be held in Seattle for the first time since 2001.
The announcement was the culmination of a multi-year process by the Mariners, who have renovated their stadium each year in the two decades since they last hosted the game.
Aside from the highlight event, All-Star Week also includes the Upcoming All-Star Game, the Home Run Festival and, since 2021, the MLB Draft.
The Mariners also hosted the 1979 Midseason Classic at the Kingdome.
