The countdown to the Huelva 2021 Badminton World Championships had its debut in Madrid this Tuesday with the event held at the headquarters of the Spanish Olympic Committee, in which the mayor of Huelva, Gabriel Cruz, has highlighted “The enormous illusion and the historical opportunity that an event for Huelva represents for which there are barely 75 days left and for which we practically have the entire organizational infrastructure ready. From November 28 to December 4 in its Senior mode and from December 12 to 19 in the Absolute, a historical event will take place that will bring the capital of Huelva to more than 2,000 athletes from 65 countries between the two modalities, estimating a direct economic impact of 16 million euros in the city; as well as an indirect impact of 270.3 million, counting on the projection forecasts in media terms and external promotion of the image of Huelva.
