The WTA Finals, the tournament that brings together the eight best players in the world every year, will play its next edition in the Mexican town of Guadalajara starting on November 8.
As detailed by the WTA in a statement, the ‘teachers’ tournament will be held this year in Mexico before returning to the Chinese town of Shenzhen, which will again host from 2022 to 2030.
In the classification of the race to play the WTA Finals, the Australian Ahsleigh Barty leads and the Spanish Garbiñe Muguruza occupies the eighth and last position that qualifies for the tournament.
