Tommy La Stella and Brandon Belt each hit three-run homers and the San Francisco Giants beat the Chicago Cubs 15-4 on Saturday for their sixth straight victory.

La Stella finished with three hits including a double, five RBIs and scored three runs for San Francisco, which is 92-50, the best in the major leagues. The Giants are 2.5 games ahead of the Dodgers in the West.

La Stella’s home run against Tommy Nance in the fifth hit the scoreboard at right field at Wrigley Field and the Giants scored six runs that inning.

San Francisco scored its eighth victory in nine games.

Belt, 33, has 23 homers, including 12 in his last 28 games and 10 hits in his last 21 at-bat.

Evan Longoria had three RBIs with two hits and a sacrifice ball, while Mike Yastrzemski produced two runs. Kris Bryant had two singles, walked a walk and scored two runs against his former team after going 0-for-3 on his emotional return to Wrigley Field on Friday.

The Cubs lost for a second in a row and a third in four games after a seven-game winning streak.

Willson Contreras had two hits and two RBIs. Rookie Frank Schwindel had three hits.

Kevin Gausman (14-5) allowed three runs on eight hits. He had nine strikeouts and hit 200 strikeouts for the first time in his career.

Caleb Baragar pitched the last three innings for his second save.

Zach Davies (6-11) was roughed up for a second straight start, allowing five runs on four hits and three walks in two innings.

Cubs outfielder Jason Heyward left the game in fourth after slipping at third base. He was hit by Brandon Crawford’s knee.
