The ‘Prato Sport City Day’ event has been postponed to Sunday 3 October. The initiative promoted and coordinated by the CGFS, in collaboration with the Municipality, was to be held tomorrow morning at the Serraglio playground. The announced bad weather, however, led to a two-week postponement. The sports day dedicated to children and young people aged 5 to 16 will therefore be held on Sunday 3 October in Piazza delle Carceri and in conjunction with another initiative of the CGFS, the ‘My Prato Urban Run’ (whose registrations are still open) . Confirmed the disciplines that can be tried for free: volleyball, basketball, handball, table tennis, artistic and rhythmic gymnastics, judo, taekwondo, hip hop, sports dance and rugby. The national event ‘Sport City Day’ will be held simultaneously tomorrow in another 17 cities in Italy, including Rome, Milan, Turin and Catania to name a few. Prato will guarantee its presence through a video link in which the good practices of the territory will be told.
