Over twenty sports associations from Bagno a Ripoli present themselves at the new Grassina urban park. After a year of hiatus due to a pandemic, the Sports Festival is back, a showcase for the many and heterogeneous activities of the area and an opportunity for everyone to try some discipline that has always intrigued and maybe decide to undertake it. From martial arts to dance, from cycling to team games, starting at 4 pm there will be a parade of athletes and sports, from running to the circus, from canoeing to tennis, from athletics to rugby, from cycling to martial arts, from baseball to football, from dance to cycling to volleyball. The entrance to the park and the rehearsals will be free and open to all. At 5 pm the “Paggetti Trophy” will start, the mini-race for children organized by the running group of the Popular Brotherhood of Grassina. At 6 pm the mayor Francesco Casini and the councilor for Sport Enrico Minelli will award the clubs and athletes of the area that have distinguished themselves in recent months at a national and international level.
