Scottish Senior Open (LT): Levet is doing it again!

Author last Saturday of a historic doubled at the French Open, which he had won on the European tour in 2011 and therefore among seniors ten years later, Thomas Levet achieved a new double of the same kind by removing this Sunday at Royal Aberdeen the open of Scotland. In 2004, he had signed one of his best victories at Loch Lomond, today the 53-year-old Parisian has triumphed again, winning the play-off event against the Austrian Markus Brier. “I’m delighted, winning two consecutive weeks is incredible! My game is in place, I knew it from the start of the season. I played very, very solid this week, and the putting which was not my strong point was extremely good ”, he said after receiving the trophy from the hands of Paul Lawrie, the tournament organizer.

Thanks to this success at Scottish Senior Open, Levet moved to fourth position in the order of merit, which in the current state of affairs theoretically opens the doors to two Majors in the United States next year, the Senior PGA Championship and theU.S. Senior Open.
