Ronaldo scores again, but Lingard steals the show for Manchester United

Manchester United continue to compete in the top of the Premier League. The team won the difficult away game against West Ham United and came back on the same level with league-leader Liverpool.

Manchester, where Donny van de Beek remained on the bench, dictated the game. Despite this, West Ham took the lead after half an hour thanks to Said Benrahma.

Five minutes later, however, it was already 1-1 and of course it was Cristiano Ronaldo who had leveled Manchester. The Portuguese punished a blunder by keeper Lukasz Fabianski.

Ronaldo has now scored in three games since his return to Manchester, but this time he had to share the spotlight with Jesse Lingard.

Lingard scores against old club

Last season Lingard was seen as redundant in Manchester and loaned to West Ham. He had a top season there and earned a new chance in the team of coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Lingard of all people gave Manchester the victory against his old club in the final minutes with a great shot in the corner.

West Ham were awarded a penalty in the final seconds, but Mark Noble, who had just come in, shot with his first contact against the outstretched hand of goalkeeper David De Gea.
