Riachuelo and La Rioja Basket won at the start of the championship

In the facilities of the “Roadney Young” micro-stadium, this Tuesday the opening day was held within the framework of the first date of the 2021 First Division Championship of the Riojan Basketball Association.

With regard to strictly sports, Riachuelo was left with the victory in the first round, after beating the local Amancay by 91 to 82, while in the second hour it was the triumph of La Rioja Basket, which defeated Banco Rioja by 79 to 62.

Opening the tournament, a duel took place between two teams that a priori are firm candidates to fight for the title, where the “eternal” took the victory against the “canary”.

Riachuelo’s victory took place with partials of partials of 17-20, 26-12, 17-23 and 32-27, where Fabricio Salas’ team marked the differences at the end of each stage.

It will be through another double day, where from 9:00 p.m. they will face San Martín against Facundo, while they will continue to face Atlético Chilecito against Riojano.

The opening day will be completed only next week, since on Tuesday the 14th the duel between Independiente and Unión will be played, which will face each other from 9:00 p.m. at the “Roadney Young” microstadium.
