Quarterfinals end station Michael van Gerwen/Dirk van Duijvenbode in World Cup of Darts | Darts

Van Gerwen started with a convincing 4-1 win over Henderson, but Van Duijvenbode lost to Wright with the same numbers. As a result, the doubles had to bring the decision and it became 4-3 for the Scots.

In the deciding seventh leg of the doubles, Henderson threw out 64, after Wright had thrown 140 in the previous at bat.

Scotland will take on title holder Wales later in the day, who defeated Australia 2-0 in the last eight. The other semi-final is between England and Austria.

In 2018, the Netherlands won the country tournament for the last time, then with Van Gerwen and Raymond van Barneveld.
