Nery Alberto Pumpido is the new deputy general secretary for football of the Conmebol, replacing Gonzalo belloso, who resigned this week. Precisely, Pumpido was champion of the Copa Libertadores de América in 2002 with Olimpia de Paraguay, a club in which Domínguez played before joining Conmebol. Pumpido was part of various technical commissions of Conmebol and worked alongside other coaches, such as Pacho Maturana.
